In conjunction with the 100th Anniversary of International Amateur Radio Union, IARU, the Br​unei Darussalam Amateur Radio Association, BDARA, held the Launching of Special Call Sign V84SRU. It took place at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Berakas, 24th October afternoon.

It was officiated by Wisnu Widjaja, President of IARU. Amateur radio enthusiasts in the country have the opportunity to connect with radio stations from various countries. This initiative can strengthen international cooperation in radio communications field.
